Alfreton Town extended their unbeaten run to four games but had to be happy with a share of the spoils at the Impact Arena on Saturday as Kidderminster hit back from a goal behind to draw for the fifth time in succession.

The Reds could have been in front after just 20 seconds but Nathan Arnold saw his shot parried by Harriers keeper Nathan Vaughan.

Alfreton went in front on 29 minutes when Dan Bradley netted for the third game in a row, this time with an eight-yard strike across the visiting keeper and inside the far post.

Kidderminster equalised on 65 minutes with an equally good strike, Anthony Malbon creating half-a-yard of space before curling a left-footed 18 yarder beyond the dive of Jon Stewart and into the far top corner.

Both sides had chances to win, but a draw was a fair result from a very well-contested game.

The Reds man of the match was goalkeeper Jon Stewart who made crucial saves in both halves.

The attendance was 659.

Alfreton are back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to face league new boys Hyde FC. Kick-off is 7.15pm and ATFCSA transport departs at 5.15pm. Seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 01773 836251.
