FOURTH DEFEAT IN A ROW FOR REDS

Alfreton Town suffered a fourth successive Vanarama Conference league defeat in a row after going down 2-1 at home to Gateshead on Tuesday evening.

The game marked the reaching of the half-way point of the 2014/15 season league campaign but the result left Nicky Law's side second from bottom of the table, still six points from safety.

Reds subsitute Paul Clayton bundled home a late reply goal for the Reds but they already trailed behind 2-0 at that stage thanks to a brace of goals from Gateshead's Matty Pattinson who had scored on 31 and 68 minutes.

Away game
The Reds are next in action on Saturday when they face a huge relegation 'six-pointer' at Nuneaton Town.
Kick-off is 3pm and ATFC Supporters' Association transport departs at 10.15am. Seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401.
