LATE GOAL DENIES REDS VICTORY

Alfreton Town extended their unbeaten run to twelve games in all competitions but were left to rue missed chances in a 1-1 draw at home with Corby Town.

The Reds took the lead on 19 minutes when Todd Jordan headed home his first goal for the club from a Joe Leesley corner.

But despite Nicky Law's side dominating much of the first half they could not make their superiority count.

To their credit, relegation-fighting Corby battled strongly in the second half and equalised in the first minute of stoppage time through Ben Milnes.
