INJURY TIME GOALS KILL OFF BRAVE TEN-MAN REDS

TEN-man Alfreton Town fell to an undeserved defeat as visitors Kidderminster Harriers scored twice in added on time at the end of the second half.

In front of 990 (including 199 from Kidderminster) the Reds had on-loan striker Louis Moult sent off in contentious circumstances in first half stoppage time. Referee Mr West adjudged a challenge from the Stoke City striker on Kyle Storer to be dangerous and issued a straight red card, despite the  Reds player appearing to win the ball.

Nicky Law's side bravely went 4-3-2 in the second half and gave the visitors plenty to think about before the late late show swung the points back to Worcestershire.

Goals from substitute Anthony Malbon on 90+2 and Jamille Matt on 90+4 finally broke Alfreton's determined resistance.

Alfreton are back in action on Tuesday evening when they travel to bottom-of-the-table Bath City. Kick-off is 7.45pm and ATFC Supporters' Association transport departs at 3pm. To book seats, contact Mark Thorpe on 01773 836251.
