REDS SUFFER FIFTH SUCCESSIVE HOME LEAGUE DEFEAT

Alfreton Town slipped to a fourth successive Vanarama National League North defeat after going down 1-0 to in-form Bradford Park Avenue at the Impact Arena on Saturday.

Clear cut chances were at a premium at either end although debutant Reds keeper Fabian Spiess (pictured) and former Town keeper Jon Stewart were both in good form throughout.

The only goal of the game came on 15 minutes when Richard Marshall fed Craig King and he despatched a firm low cross shot into the far corner in-off the far post.

The defeat saw Nicky Law's side drop one place to 16th in the table, just one point above the relegation places.
