AKINDE NAMED AS SCORER AGAINST WELLING UNITED

AKINDE NAMED AS SCORER AGAINST WELLING UNITED

Wednesday Apr 9, 2014

last Saturday’s second Alfreton Town equaliser in the 2-2 draw against Welling United at the Impact Arena has been officially changed to striker Job Ayo Akinde after originally being awarded to Bradley Wood.

The club have confirmed that Akinde diverted the ball into the net from Wood’s 22-yard shot on 72 minutes.

That goal, and Tuesday night’s reply against Aldershot, means Akinde has now taken his season’s Reds tally to 16 goals for the season, 15 of which have come in the league.
