AFC TELFORD UNITED v ALFRETON TOWN MATCH PREVIEW
Thursday Oct 29, 2015
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31st, 3pm
by James Aspinall and Kev Miles
The Reds return to Vanarama National League North action on Saturday with a trip to AFC Telford United.
Alfreton's next League game sees them take a trip to bottom of the table, AFC Telford.
Neither side are in great form, with both sides losing three out of their last five games.
Nicky Law's men have lost their last three league games, and were defeated by Macclesfield in the final qualifying round in the Emirates FA Cup in their last outing.
AFC Telford have picked up in their last two games. After three defeats on the bounce, a victory over Stalybridge Celtic and a draw against Boston has seen them close the gap to three points to get out of the relegation zone.
A win for the reds could see them potentially rise to ninth in the table, whereas Telford could climb out of the relegation places with a victory.
Reds manager Nicky Law will be without Cliff Moyo who is serving a one-match suspension but John Johnston is available for selection again after a three-game ban.
Kick-off at the New Bucks Head is 3pm.
Alfreton Town FC Supporters' Association transport to the game at Telford this Saturday departs at 9.30am and coach seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401.
