REDS CLIMB OUT OF RELEGATION ZONE

Alfreton Town climbed out of the Vanarama Conference relegation places after a crucial 1-0 win at AFC Telford United on Saturday.

The only goal of the game came on 57 minutes with Luke Graham (pictured) heading home a John Johnston free kick for his second goal of the season.

Simon Lenighan was handed a starting debut and victory was Alfreton's first ever in Shropshire which secured a third league double of the campaign for the Reds.

Alfreton are back in action on Saturday, March 7th when Kidderminster Harriers are the visitors to the Impact Arena for a league game which kicks-off at 3pm.
