Ross Durrant leaves the club

ATFC can confirm that goalkeeper Ross Durrant has left the club by mutual consent.
Ross has moved to neighbours Matlock Town following his departure from the Reds.
Ross featured for the Reds throughout pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 campaign but was yet to make an appearance since the start of the new season.
Durrant then moved on loan to Sheffield FC for a month in late August.
Manager Billy Heath said:
“Since the arrival of Sam Ramsbottom, Ross’s chances have been limited with us. He is an excellent professional and worked very hard during his time with us. He is a fantastic player with great potential and talent.”
“Ross went to Sheffield FC for a month and he did very well there and the main thing for Ross was to have first team football, he has joined Matlock now and we wish him all the best. He leaves the club with our very best wishes for the future.”
