Read our report from Tuesday's comfortable Replay win in the FA Cup

Alfreton Town dispatched a spirited Sutton Coldfield in our Second Qualifying Round replay in the FA Cup as two outstanding goals from Declan Bacon and a wonder strike from Jordan Sinnott sealed passage into the next round.

Billy Heath rotated the side and brought Josh Clackstone in at full back, Danny Clarke and Declan Bacon also started.

The Royals mustered the first effort when Jon Letford found space in the box but fired over the bar. However the early stages began to sway towards the Reds who grasped control early on, Bacon fired wide from the edge of the box before a neat one-two from Clarke and Nathan Hotte saw Clarke skew an effort over the bar.

After 17 minutes the Reds took the lead, a cross from the right by Clackstone found Bacon on the edge of the box and the striker lifted the ball up and on the turn hit a worldie of a volley into the top corner leaving Gwilliams no chance.

Curtis Bateson tested the Royals keeper again who tipped the wingers effort over. Luke Shiels then glanced the resulting corner over the bar.

Further openings for Jordan Sinnott and Bacon followed but good defending from Sutton prevented shots on goal.

Letford then broke clear on the left hand side but a wonderful save from Sam Ramsbottom who came rushing out denied the Royals forward's toe poke.

Alfreton made it two on 28 minutes and another beauty of a strike came from Sinnott who collected the ball 25 yards out and hammered an effort into the top corner with Gwilliams rooted to the spot.

Josh Wilde looked to add a third with an audacious effort with the outside of the foot which went just wide of the near post.

The second half started slower than the first as the Reds continued to work the ball, the visitors were finding chance creation difficult throughout and after 54 minutes the Reds made it 3-0.

Another picture-book stunner from Bacon leaving most in the ground speechless, saw the striker hit the ball with incredible technique from outside the box and it arrowed into the top corner.

Wilde again came close, chesting the ball down on the edge of the box but his effort went just wide.

The Reds were controlling the contest at this stage with 20 minutes to go, defending well and remaining alert at the back. Bateson tested Gwilliams again with a shot in the box which was saved, before Ramsbottom was called into action at the other end saving well from close range after a nod down from a long throw.

James Clifton was introduced to replace Josh Wilde who picked up knock and Clifton nearly made it four, but both posts denied the left back from inside the box.

But the Reds saw the game out professionally and eased their way through, booking their spot in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and a date with derbyshire rivals Mickleover Sports on the 6th October.
