Sinnott penalty ensures another battling point at the Impact Arena on Saturday

A second half Jordan Sinnott penalty salvaged another draw for the Reds in a battling point against Telford United which saw two red cards, on Saturday.

Billy Heath rotated the side with Danny Clarke, Jordan Sinnott and Josh Clackstone starting. James Clifton missed out through suspension.

The game started like the weather, in blustery fashion. Telford earned an early corner which was cleared before Josh Wilde motored down the left and saw his cross blocked.

Danny Clarke raced onto a Bobby Johnson through ball but good defending saw Clarke's connection with the ball lack power and Wycherley saved.

The Bucks keeper was called into action again, collecting Richard Peniket's cross as the Reds attacks were neat and fluid in the opening exchanges.

Wycherley denied Johnson's fizzing effort from outside the box, palming the effort over the bar. Sam Hird picked out Johnson with a gorgeous floated pass over the top but Wycherley again denied Johnson in the box.

Daniel Udoh then earned a booking for the Bucks, as he caught Sam Ramsbottom in the box as Sam went up to catch the ball with the Bucks striker took the Reds keeper's balance away from him. Bobby Johnson was then booked for a 50-50 challenge in the centre circle.

Telford were growing into the contest with the Reds looking better in the final third as half time approached. Hird glanced a Jordan Sinnott free kick straight at Wycherley before Telford were sent down to ten men on 38 minutes.

Udoh picked up a second yellow card for a lunge on Johnson and the Bucks were furious with the decision and the two yellow cards in the first place.

The second half looked to have been set up nicely for the Reds with the Bucks down to ten men but the second period proved far harder. Sinnott went for goal straight away from the restart with the ball looping over the bar.

Luke Shiels headed an effort towards the far post but it was easily claimed.

Knights pressed well at the other end for the ten men and curled an effort inside the box which went saw Sam tip it wide of the far post. From the resulting corner on 50 minutes, the Bucks took the lead.

Sutton headed home through a crowd of bodies to the delight of the travelling support to give the ten men the lead and in turn stun the Reds.

Knights was causing more issues and nearly made it two after mis-communication at the back from us, but his effort was stabbed wide past Ramsbottom.

Reece Styche was introduced moments later and was booked for simulation when it looke dlike the Reds striker was clearly clipped. Styche then tested Wycherley in the box with the Bucks keeper saving well, before the striker was then sent off for a second bookable offence for leading with an elbow.

The striker's arms appeared to be in a natural position and it looked a very soft yellow card and the Reds task was made that much harder with both sides now down to ten men.

On 73 minutes, Alfreton were awarded a penalty for handball in the box, Sinnott gladly stepped up and hammered the ball down the middle to drag the Reds back into it.

The Bucks looked to hit back but Sam denied them again with a brilliant save to his right in the box. Sutton then headed straight at Ramsbottom from the resulting corner.

Morley could have won it for the visitors as he raced into the box and poked an effort over the bar but the game ended level and the Reds had to settle for another point in a frustrating outing in the end.
