Reds sign Jordan Richards on Loan

Alfreton Town are delighted to announce the loan signing of 23 year old Jordan Richards from League Two Hartlepool United.
Jordan joins the Reds on a one month loan and plays mostly as a full-back but can also intergrate into the midfield.
Richards was born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. He started his career in the youth team of Hartlepool United on a two-year scholarship. In the summer of 2011 he signed his first professional contract and made his professional debut on 20 March 2012, in a 1–0 defeat to Oldham Athletic.
Jordan has already made 19 appearances for the Pools in League Two this season which has included three in the League Cup and two in the F.A. Cup.
Reds Boss Russ O'Neill was pleased to land the defender, speaking to Amar Sharma, Russ said: "It's a great addition for us and what we have really needed in terms of a defensive position. He has excellent quality and can deliver an excellent ball in so we can use his strengths and experience to help us whilst he is here. He has had experience in League Two and played in cup compeitions this season too. It's great for us and we are all excited to have him with us."
Jordan comes into the Reds squad for the visit of Stockport County tomorrow afternoon.
