AFC Fylde v Alfreton Town

AFC Fylde v Alfreton Town

Sunday Jan 22, 2017

The Reds are in Vanarama Nationwide North action again this Tuesday evening when they make the difficult trip to the spanking new Mill Farm stadium of League Leaders AFC Fylde.

Fylde were suprisingly beaten 3-2 on their visit to Curzon Ashton last Saturday. Goals by Brendan Daniels and leading scorer Danny Rowe were not enough as they fell to a 79th minute winner from Curzon's  Ryan Hall.

Fylde still top the table with 56 points from 25 games. Saturday's defeat was only their third in the league to date and they still hold a six point cushion over Kidderminster Harriers and Chorley.

Fylde were 5-3 winners at the Impact Arena in an exciting encounter back in August. The Reds however will be looking to repeat the result in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round when they chalked up an excellent 1-0 home win, courtesy of a Tom Allan goal in the 9th minute.

The Red's will be looking forwards to meeting former favourite Dan Bradley, who we all hope has an off day.

The Supporter's Association as ever is running transport to the game leaving the Impact Arena at 3-30 pm prompt. Anyone still interested in travelling please call Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401
