Alfreton Town XI 4, Mansfield Town XI 2

A mixed Alfreton Town side recorded a fine 4-2 friendly win over a Mansfield Town XI at the Impact Arena on Tuesday evening.
Craig Mitchell put the Reds ahead on 7 minutes and after Chris Beardsley equalised for the Stags on 12, Alfreton went into the interval 2-1 up after Anton Brown netted on 32.
Mansfield were handed an equaliser courtesy of an own goal early in the second half but two goals by the lively Matt Glass on 63 and 80 swung the victory verdict to Alfreton.
