Player Profiles - WOOD, Bradley

Position: Right-back

Squad number: 2

Date of birth: September 2nd, 1991

Joined Alfreton Town: Wednesday, May 29th, 2013

Bradley was Nicky Law's first signing of the summer of 2013 when he joined the Reds on a one-year contract following his release by Grimsby Town on May 2.
His outstanding early season form brought him the reward of a call-up into the England C squad for the game in Latvia.
Leicester-born Wood made a total of 113 appearances over a four year contract with Grimsby, scoring one goal. At the time of his release he was the longest serving current player at the club.
A combative and tough tackling defender, the versatile Wood has also played on the right flank and left back and was Grimsby Town's young player of the year in the 2010/2011 season.
He has quickly settled in at Alfreton and added a good dose of steel to the right side of the defence with some consistently good displays.
