Hugely popular and reliable keeper who has signed non-contract terms with the Reds for the 2011/12 campaign. Ross has produced some excellent performances when called upon over the last 18 months. He returned for a third spell at the Impact Arena in March 2010 having made his first debut in a 4-1 home win over Sheffield FC in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division on November 24, 2001.
Produced some tremendous displays in Alfreton's run to the play-off final in 2010, keeping three clean sheets in the last eight high pressure games of the 2009/10 season.
He made 35 appearances as part of Chris Wilder's all-conquering team which won an unprecedented four trophies in the 2001/02 season and made another 30 in the 2002/03 campaign.
