Luke is a 6'4'' central defender who joined the Reds on a month's loan from npower Championship side Barnsley.
Potter, 22, will be with the Reds until November 12 inclusive and has been cleared to appear in this season's FA Cup for Nicky Law's side.
Luke is an Academy graduate with the Tykes. He has made 15 senior appearances for Barnsley and has also had loan spells with both Stafford Rangers and Kettering Town with whom he made 22 appearances in the Blue Square Bet Premier Division in the 2008/09 season.
A versatile player, Luke has also played at left back as well as in central defence.
He has been given squad number 25 for his term at the Impact Arena.
