Now in his third season with Alfreton, he was rewarded with a new contract in the summer of 2010. Moved to the Impact Arena from Stafford Rangers. Jake is a confident, athletic and mobile central midfield player who has been used to very good effect down the right side of midfield.
Has a very good eye for goal and weighed in with some important strikes in the early part of the Blue Square Bet North title-winning season before injury kept him out.
He began his career with Port Vale before moving on to Plymouth Argyle and then spending the back end of the 2007/08 campaign at Kidderminster Harriers. Leek Town became his next port of call before joining Stafford.
Settled in very quickly at the Impact Arena with a string of consistent displays.
