Josh is now one of the longest serving players at the club and is now in his sixth season with the Reds. He is an accomplished and consistent performer who has made the right-back berth his own having been moved there from midfield.
Josh was part of the Alfreton squad which successfully maintained their Conference Premier Division status during their first season at non league's top flight.
Josh played a major part in Alfreton's 2010/11 Blue Square Bet North title-winning side and was named Players' Player of the season for his superbly consistent displays throughout the campaign.
Possesses plenty of skill, is a superb crosser of the ball and also weighs in with a few important goals.
He initially joined on a three-month long loan term from League Two neighbours Chesterfield in early October, 2007.
His loan was extended to the end of the 2007/08 campaign where he continually put in consistent displays on the right side of the Reds midfield.
A produce of the Spireites' Academy set up, he had featured on the bench for Chesterfield's first team.
Son of manager Nicky, Josh's versatility has also seen him used in a central midfield role before. Scorer of several eye-catching goals.
