Left-sided midfield player Rob joined Alfreton from Blue square Bet Premier Division rivals Grimsby Town on loan until January 2nd, 2012.
He started his career at Norwich City where he was a product of their youth system, making 12 appearances, before joining Inverness Caledonian Thistle, where he played 25 times in the 2009/10 campaign. He had a trial with Leyton Orient before moving on to Grimsby after a successful trial in 2010. He has made 51 appearances and scored nine goals for the Mariners including 12 appearances this season, one of which was in the 5-2 win over the Reds.
Rob has been allocated squad number 23 for his stay at the Impact Arena, but he is ineligible to play for the Reds in the FA Trophy and Derbyshire Senior Cup.
