The 31 year old joined the Reds after leaving League Two outfit, Mansfield at the end of last season. He scored four times for the Stags, before being sent out on loan to National League side, Southport.
After starting out his career at hometown club, Nottingham Forest, Westcarr dropped into the non-league scene with Cambrtdge United and then Kettering Town in May 2006.
After leaving Kettering he went on to play in the Football League for Notts County, Chesterfield (Where he scored in their Football League Trophy Final win over Swindon Town at Wembley), Walsall and Portsmouth, before moving to Mansfield.
This season has already seen him score a number of important goals for the Reds.
