Consistent performer and versatile player who has shown great loyalty and he notched up his 200th appearance for the club during the 2010/11 title winning season. Anton is a very good athlete who is now in his sixth season with Alfreton, the longest serving player at the club. Established himself in the team at left back over his first few seasons and his impressive displays earned him both the coveted players' player and supporters' player of the season awards in the 2007/08 camaign.
He has also covered in central defence but was moved very successfully into a central midfield position two years ago and a number of impressive performances and a fair few goals earned him another deal.
Originally joined the Reds in the summer of 2006 after impressing in pre-season trials. Formerly with Mansfield Town's youth set up, he also saw action with Central Midlands League Supreme Division outfit Greenwood Meadows in his early career.
