Position: Striker
Squad number: 26
Date of birth: October 25th, 1978
Joined Alfreton Town: September 8th, 2011
Drewe came to the Impact Arena as a free agent having been without a club since being released by Lincoln City following their relegation from the Football League in May.
The much-travelled target man has shaken off a minor hamstring injury which saw him have to be substituted during two run-outs in pre-season friendlies with Alfreton [against Sheffield United and Matlock Town].
At 6'3'' he brings plenty of height and power to the attack and he has bags of experience with numerous clubs including AFC Wimbledon last season where Dons manager Terry Brown described Broughton as 'an exemplary professional'.
He began his career in 1996 with Norwich City where he made nine first team appearances before moving on to Brentford, Peterborough United, Kidderminster Harriers and Southend United.
Prior to Lincoln City whom he joined in 2010, Broughton was with Rotherham United, MK Dons, Chester City and Rushden & Diamonds.
