Player Profiles 2017/18 - Bradley Wood

Bradley Wood has re-signed for the Reds from Lincoln City. He is a full back who can also play in centre midfield.

Bradley came through the youth ranks at Grimsby Town. He was promoted to the first team squad ahead of the 2008/09 season.

He was named substitute once before making his first team debut against Darlington in September 2009 named man ot the match in a game that ended 1-1.

He signed a four year professional deal with Grimsby Town in May 2010. He scored for the Mariner's youth team in a victory over Shrewsbury Town in the Midland  Floodlit League Youth Cup Final and was named supporters Young Player of the Year for the 2010/11 season. 

The 2013/14 season saw him play a key role as Grimsby reached the FA Trophy Final at Wembley and narrowly missed out on promotion back to the Football League, losing to Newport County in the play-offs.

In 2013 Bradley was released by the Mariners after making 113 appearances scoring one goal.

He joined Alfreton Town in May 2013 on a one year deal. He made his debut against Dartford before scoring his first goal in a defeat to Braintree Town. He featured in 49 of our 50 games in the 2013/14 season and was named as the Supporter's Association player of the season. 

He then signed a two year contract keeping him at the Impact Arena until 2016.

Wood joined Lincoln City at the start of thec 2015/16 season for an undisclosed fee after our relegation from the Conference in 2014/15.

He made 40 appearances for the Imps in the 2015/16 season. Last season he played a crucial role in the Imps return to the Football League as Champions of the National League and played a key part in their magnificent run to the FA Cup Quarter Finals playing against Burnley and Arsenal.
