Joined Alfreton Town on a two-year contract on Thursday, July 5, 2012, after the Reds agreed an undisclosed fee under the Bosman ruling with Kidderminster Harriers. He penned a one-year extension to his contract in July 2013.
He had a tremendous first season with the Reds, netting 11 goals from central midfield and his efforts were rewarded still further when he won an England C cap in a 6-1 win in Bermuda in early May.
The 6'2'' Cannock-born former Aston Villa and Tamworth central midfielder had joined Kidderminster at the start of the January 2012 transfer window following his release from Tamworth.
Dan had joined Tamworth in the summer of 2010 after coming through the junior ranks to earn a professional contract with Aston Villa. Although he never made an appearance for Villa, he made 66 during his 18 months with Tamworth, scoring six times.
His brief stay at Kidderminster saw him make seven starts and eight substitute appearances, scoring once.
