Penned a new one-year deal with the Reds on Thursday, July 5th, 2012, to commit himself to the Impact Arena for a third successive season.
The 2011/12 season saw him recover very well from a broken foot early in the season and he came back strongly to aid Alfreton's successful bid to stay in the Conference Premier Division.
A former Mansfield Town wide man who joined the Reds from Conference North side Hyde United in the summer of 2010 and had a great first season with the Reds, playing a key part in Alfreton's Blue Square Bet North 2010/2011 title-winning squad.
A direct, pacy player who can also play up front and has a good eye for goal, Nathan had joined Hyde in August 2009 after rejecting a new deal at Field Mill, thus ending a four-year spell with the Stags where he made over 100 league and cup appearances after progressing from the club's Centre of Excellence.
